A new announcement by the Pittsburgh Penguins has confirmed the team plans to celebrate Marc-Andre Fleury with a special jersey giveaway.
Earlier today, Marc-Andre Fleury spoke to the media about his return to Pittsburgh for one final game.
During that interview he spoke about being convinced by Kyle Dubas and Max Talbot to return to game action one final time.
Now, just days after his final game in a Penguins' uniform the team has announced they will be auctioning off his jersey from the game.

According to a post on social media from the Penguins, an auction has officially been opened to give one lucky fan Marc-Andre Fleury's official game used jersey.
Fleury capped off an impressive Hall of Fame worthy career stacked up with individual awards and Stanley Cups and did so alongside some of his best friends and longest tenured teammates in his NHL career.
To this point, the auction has already reached an astounding $650,000 with still several days for bids to be placed.
This insane bidding price has led to a wide range of reactions from fans on social media.
While this is certainly going to be out of the price range for the average fan one lucky wealthy individual will be able to add a piece of history to their sports memorabilia collection.
As the auction concludes on the 9th it will be fascinating to see how high of a bid it ends up taking to secure Fleury's jersey.
