Pittsburgh Penguins' 2025 Draft Lottery Pick Officially Revealed
The Pittsburgh Penguins had quite the disappointing 2024/25 campaign, but now, they know where they'll be drafting in the first round of the 2025 NHL Draft.
The 2025 NHL Draft is almost upon us, and on Monday night, 15 teams learned their lottery fate as the first 15 draft picks that will take place in Los Angeles have officially been revealed.
Coming into the draft, the Penguins odds of moving up to the No. 1 overall pick came in at 5%, with the team most likely to land the ninth overall pick, a place that could land them a solid draft pick, but obviously, they'd love to move up in a massive way.
Now, ahead of round-two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the lottery odds have officially been set with the 2025 draft lottery, and now, the Penguins will be drafting with the No. 11 overall pick.
The Penguins' divisional rivals came up on top with the No.1 Overall Pick.

After a tough season, the Penguins have a lot of needs for their future, and with names like Michael Misa, James Hagens, Jake O'Brien, Porter Martone, Caleb Desnoyers, Roger McQueen and Carter Bear among many, many others showing immense potential, the Penguins have the chance to land a star in this draft.
It's unclear exactly what position the team are targeting, as they have needs all over the ice, but with a lack of star power on the blue line moving forward, there's a chance that's the position they target.
Ultimately, this could be a night that helps or hurts the Penguins in a major way moving forward, but with a solid draft pick inside the top 11, they have the chance to land a franchise changing star.
