Pittsburgh Penguins Fans Show No Mercy to Their Struggling Team with Disheartening Chants

It's been a frustrating afternoon and year for fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins, who let their team know what they thought of their performance with a clear chant.
Unless something big changes, the Pittsburgh Penguins are facing the harsh reality of not qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 3rd straight year, which would be the longest drought of captain
Sidney Crosby's career.
Frustrated fans who normally chant "Let's Go Pens!" are now issuing a different rallying cry for their team - more of a demand, actually.
Fans are now chanting "Shoot The Puck" at the players:
The situation right now in the Steel City appears bleak at best.
Penguins fans are right to feel anxious about the future of the club
With a record of 24-28-9 coming into today's game, the Penguins are in last place in the Metropolitan Division.
It's unfamiliar territory for a generation of Penguins fans, who grew accustomed to seeing their team routinely compete in the Eastern Conference and have a realistic chance to be the last team standing at the end of the year.
However, major changes could be on the horizon for general manager Kyle Dubas.
Captain Sidney Crosby has already shown his commitment to the organization by agreeing to a multi-year contract extension before this year began, but the team around him hardly resembles a competitive squad.
There could be some extremely difficult years on the horizon for the Penguins as Crosby's career begins to wind down.
