Potential One-For-One Trade on the Table for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Divisional Rivals

Kyle Dubas will be talking a lot of phone calls over the next few days as the March 7th trade deadline inches closer.
The Penguins are clearly in a position to sell and they have several interesting options, including
Erik Karlsson.
Karlsson has two years left on his contract after this one, and carries a cap hit of 10 million dollars, with the Sharks retaining 1.5 million of his original 11.5 million deal when they moved him across the country.
That may be easier said than done though as Karlsson's contract remains an issue for most contenders.
While it would make the most sense for Karlsson to get moved to a contender, Dubas would likely accept any deal that can get that contract off the books.
So what about a team like the Philadelphia Flyers? Flyers GM Danny Briere has been shopping veteran defenseman
Rasmus Ristolainen this year, and perhaps there is a world where a Karlsson for Ristolainen deal could make sense.
Both players have two years left on their contracts after this one. Ristolainen has a cap hit of 5.1 million, which could match Karlsson's if Dubas retains 50%, bringing it down to 5 million.
It would effectively be a swap for the teams that kicks the can down the road, giving both clubs the option to trade the defenders again in the next two seasons before their deals expire.
