Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon Crash Marchand's Stanley Cup Party in Nova Scotia

Marchand scored 6 goals alone in the SCF against the Edmonton Oilers, helping the Panthers repeat as champions and also winning the 2nd Stanley Cup of his career. He then re-signed with the Panthers on an eyebrow-raising 6 year deal, ending the hopes of Bruins fans of a summer reunion.
Recently, Marchand had his day with the Stanley Cup in his home province of Nova Scotia, where fellow NHL stars Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche are from.
Both players made an appearance at Marchand's celebration and posed for a photo with him and the Cup itself in front of them.
Marchand, Crosby, and MacKinnon have all been teammates with each other previously in international play, most recently on the Canadian squad that won the 4 Nations Faceoff tournament in February.
Included on that Canadian roster was Marchand's current Panthers teammate,
Sam Reinhart, while the American squad Canada defeated included
Matthew Tkachuk.
Brad Marchand is now signed through 2031
Marchand, who had the chance to hit free agency and could have signed with a number of teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs, chose instead to come back to the Panthers.
He signed a
6 year extension to remain in Florida, meaning he's under contract until he's 42 years old. Whether or not he actually plays out the contract or retires early remains to be seen.
