Sidney Crosby has been in the NHL for two decades now, and in that time he's had plenty of success as he's now on the verge of passing another major record as the Penguins battle the Ottawa Senators on Sunday night.
However, the records seemingly won't stop coming for No. 87, as he could potentially make NHL history yet again on Sunday evening as the Penguins battle the Ottawa Senators.
In this game, Crosby could pass the great Jaromir Jagr for the most amount of points against the Senators franchise in NHL history, with the duo currently tied at 57 points each against the Canadian franchise.
"Sidney Crosby (57) is just one point shy from surpassing Jaromir Jagr (57) for the most points against the Ottawa Senators in franchise history.»
Over the years, Crosby has had plenty of great battles against the Senators in the regular season and the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and while it's not always gone the Penguins way, Crosby has certainly continued to deliver against the Senators time and time again.
While the Senators have been on a roll as of late, so has Crosby who has tallied 8 goals and 19 points in 13 games this month, scoring points in 12 of those appearances, and with the young, enthusiastic talent now joining him in the lineup, it's easy to assume that on Sunday night, for the second game in a row, Crosby makes some type of NHL history.
