Surprise Starting Goalie Named by Penguins' Dan Muse; Injured Forward to Make Season Debut

The Penguins have named Arturs Silovs as today's starting goalie, which means Sergei Murashov could start tomorrow; Kevin Hayes will make his debut.
Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Muse spoke to the media pregame and revealed that Arturs Silovs will start in goal vs. the Devils, and Kevin Hayes will be in the lineup and make his season debut this afternoon.
This means that because Hayes is in the lineup, Philip Tomasino will unfortunately be the odd man out and will sit.
Hayes hadn't played yet this season due to an upper-body injury but practiced on Friday, and the forward will make his season debut after missing the first 15 games.
With Silovs starting today and the Penguins playing a back-to-back tomorrow, all signs point to Sergei Murashov finally making his debut when the Penguins take on the Los Angeles Kings.

Filip Hallander will be out for many months with a blood clot in his leg
The Penguins are dealing with a ton of injuries. Filip Hallander will miss a minimum of three months, but likely more, after the forward was diagnosed with a blood clot in his leg.
Muse has not deviated from his goalie rotation once yet this year, so today will be the first time that he starts a goalie two games in a row. Murashov is expected to make his NHL debut tomorrow vs. the Kings, but it hasn't officially been confirmed yet.
