Today, Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry spoke to the media and discussed multiple areas of the game he is hoping to improve this season.

The 2024-25 season was an absolute let down for Tristan Jarry who played 36 NHL games but was also placed on waivers and optioned to the AHL.
This move from Kyle Dubas and the Penguins led fans to lose all confidence in Jarry going forward even with some improved performance once he was called back up.
Heading into training camp, Jarry once again had to prove he belonged in a heated position battle against up and coming goalies Arturs Silovs and Sergei Murashov.
Jarry ultimately earned his spot and is now focused on improving to show he can still be an elite goalie in the NHL.

Tristan Jarry Reveals What He Wants To Improve Most This Season

During a recent interview, Jarry reflected on what led to his downfalls last season and how he can prevent them in 2025-26.
Jarry said the key this season to his success is improving the start of the game and setting a tone early with his performances to give the team energy.
One of the things I wanted to improve on from last year was improving my starts. Improving my starts for the team. I think this year, I've done a good job of that.

Jarry so far this season has only played three games but has been drastically improved with a 2.35 goals against average and a 0.922 save percentage almost 30 points higher than last season.
Hopefully, Jarry will be able to carry these performances over to the rest of the season and try to help this Penguins squad shock the world and sneak into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
