Massive Development Regarding Two Of The Maple Leafs Biggest Prospects
Last week, Toronto Maple Leafs fans got some good news with the revelation that two promising prospects, Fraser Minten and Easton Cowan, were being considered for Team Canada in the upcoming World Junior Championships in Sweden, starting December 26th.
The excitement reached new heights last night as fans learned that not only had Minten and Cowan made it onto the official roster, but both players are set to play significant roles. Based on their positions in the exhibition match lineup, it seems Cowan will feature on the top line alongside NHL prospects Conor Geekie and Matt Savoie. Meanwhile, Minten is slated to play with projected 2024 1st overall pick Macklin Celebrini and 2022 1st rounder Jordan Dumais.
While Minten was likely a part of Team Canada's plans from the start, Cowan's emergence has added to the excitement. He appears poised to play a crucial role in Canada's success at the tournament. Once again, Leafs fans can't help but feel optimistic about this development.
