Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Alex Vlasic Ejected From Preseason Game after kneeing incident

Looks like the preseason is something that some players don't take lightly. On Sunday night, the Chicago Blackhawks Defenseman, Alex Vlasic, was ejected during his team's 6-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. This was the Hawks second straight loss.

Vlasic was ejected for knee on knee contact with forward, Elmer Soderblom. In the video it Vlasic sticks his leg out to make contacr happen with 14:09 left in the 3rd period. Elmer is the brother of Blackhawks goaltender, Arvid Soderblom.

Officials quickly stepped in between the players before any major conflict arosr, however Red Wings defenseman, Simon Edvinsson, managed to grab onto Vlasic's helmet momentarily and exchanged words with him. Officials also broke them up. Department of Player Safety will take a look at this incident this week and determine if a possible punishment for Vlasic is needed

Chicago will again face off against Detroit, in Chicago this Tuesday, October 3rd.
