With the preseason beginning, hockey has made its official comeback with a full slate of games each night, and more NHL players get back into playing real games.
Last night, the New Jersey Devils played against the Montreal Canadiens, and the Habs' first overall pick Juraj Slafkovský left the game early with an injury. Take a look below.
Regardless of the severity of the injury, it's a poor start to the year for Slafkovksy, already looking to rebound from a disappointing rookie year. Hopefully for the player, team, and fans, Slafkovsky's injury is minor and he can continue to develop and play at the NHL level.
