The investigation surrounding the tragic incident involving Adam Johnson>/b> in the Elite Ice Hockey League is still ongoing. However, there's an update from UK Police on a significant part of the case.

UK Police have informed the public that the on-site investigation at the rink where the incident occurred has been completed. But that doesn't mark the end of the entire investigation.

An officer stated,
"Our officers have now left the scene, however, due to the complex nature of this tragic and unprecedented incident, it is likely the wider investigation will take some time."

They continue to urge the public to refrain from speculating, especially on social media, as they carry on with their inquiries, promising updates when appropriate.

The tragic incident involved Johnson suffering a neck injury from an opponent's skate. While the team and the league labeled it as a "freak accident," the police are diligently assessing if there were any other factors at play.
