The Minnesota Wilds will retain the services of Winger, Ryan Hartman, for three more years. Minnesota has signed Hartman to a three-year, $12,000,000 contract extension that goes through the 2026-27 season.

This will be Hartman's third contract with Minnesota. Minnesota originally signed Hartman to a two-year contract on July 1, 2019. He was entering the final year of a three-year deal he signed in April, 2021.

Last season, Hartman scored 15 goals and 37 points total in 59 games. Hartman had developed a reputation for playing a physical game, providing nice depth and scoring opportunities in the team's bottom-six. In the last two seasons, the Wild have given Hartman the opportunity to perform as an offensive force, putting him on a line with former New York Ranger, Mats Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov.

Selected by the Chicago Blackhawks with the No. 30 pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, Hartman has 107 goals and 233 points in 506 regular-season games with the Wild, Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks. He also has six goals and 15 points in 35 playoff games.

The Minnesota Wild will open their season against the Florida Panthers at home at the Xcel Energy Center, Thursday, October 12.
