P.K. Subban Gets Raked Over the Coals After Spicy Take on Connor Bedard
Former Nhler and one-time Norris Trophy winning defenceman PK Subban always had something to say when a microphone was placed in front of him during his playing days. Since retirement and landing his own show P.K.'s Places this has only been amplified.
Subban's most recent take stirred up the hockey community online. It surrounded hockey's newest phenom Connor Bedard.
According to Subban, despite the fact that Bedard has yet to play a regular season game with the Chicago Blackhawks, he's already among the top players in the NHL when it comes to skill.
"If you don't think he's a top 10 player in the league right now in terms of skill, you don't get a seat at my table. Period." - P.K. Subban.
While nothing is ever certain, I see Bedard having a long and successful career in the NHL, barring major injuries. However, top 10 already for skill? That seems like a stretch when considering the already established future star talent the NHL has to offer. People also think Subban is putting far too much pressure on Bedard before he even makes his NHL debut.
