It's no surprise that the game between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers Is getting rather heated and who else would be in the middle of it other than known headshot artist, Jacob Trouba, This time with a vicious elbow on Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues.
It's mind-boggling how this is merely a two-minute penalty; Trouba obviously takes the lead when he elbows Rodrigues in the side of the head and face. He goes down, and elbowing is called for a two-minute penalty on the play. The officiating standard is terrible.
The Department of Player Safety ought to examine this play by tomorrow or later tonight, in my opinion, but we all know how Trouba works. I'd be shocked if the league looked into what appears to be an obvious headshot with intent to injure since he usually gets away with it.
