Former NHL forward Alexander Burmistrov, who played for multiple teams in his career, has signed in China with the Shanghai Dragons.

It looks like the NHL career of former Winnipeg Jets forward Alexander Burmistrov has come to a close, as he's signed in China with the Shanghai Dragons.
Dragons GM Igor Varitsky said that Burmistrov's talent in the face-off circle and on the penalty kill will aid his club moving forward.
With significant experience in both North America and the KHL, Alexander Burmistrov is a talented, fast center who excels in the faceoff circle and brings important contributions on the penalty kill.

Burmistrov was taken with the 8th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers, who eventually relocated to Manitoba to become the 2nd edition of the Winnipeg Jets.
But he would soon sign in the KHL with Ak Bars Kazan while expressing frustration over his role with the Jets.
Eventually returning to the Jets, he was waived and claimed by the Arizona Coyotes. After a brief stint with the Vancouver Canucks, he went back to Russia to sign with Ak Bars Kazan. He's also played with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, Metallurg Magnitogorsk, and Spartak Moscow.
He had 101 points (37G, 64A) in 348 NHL games.

Will the Penguins trade Rickard Rakell or Bryan Rust first?

The Pittsburgh Penguins aren't expected to come anywhere close to a postseason spot this year, much less competing for a Stanley Cup.
Both Rickard Rakell and Bryan Rust, who performed well for the Penguins last year, have been on the trade block for several weeks, though GM Kyle Dubas hasn't been able to find a trade partner for either player.
With each passing day, the possibility of one or both of them still being with the team by the time training camp begins next month increases.
