The Penguins will be facing a familiar face tonight when they take on the Oilers, as Edmonton has announced that Tristan Jarry will get the start in goal.

History will be made Tuesday night at the PPG Paints Arena, as the Oilers prepare to face the Penguins. A typical December showdown takes on special meaning this week.
Leon Draisaitl and Sidney Crosby are skating close to achieving significant individual milestones. Draisaitl needs a single point to reach the NHL milestone of 1,000 points.
Crosby is only two points away from breaking the franchise record held by Mario Lemieux with 1,723 points.

What Tristan Jarry did during his first start with the Oilers

Tristan Jarry gets to return home to Pittsburgh for the first time since leaving after nine seasons. His last start was a 6-3 win over Toronto. Jarry has officially been named the starting goaltender for the Edmonton Oilers.
Pittsburgh's Stuart Skinner is set to face his former team for his first start in Pittsburgh since last Friday's trade, although it hasn't been made official just yet.

Why tonight is extra special for Brett Kulak

Defenseman Brett Kulak will make his debut with the Penguins as a result of the trade after leaving Edmonton, where he played 370 games with 15 goals and 56 assists, with only one point away from reaching 100 in his career.
The Edmonton Oilers also called up forward Quinn Hutson from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, where Hutson leads rookie scorers with 16 goals and 28 points in 24 games.
Tuesday's contest offers a clash of familiarity and rivalry, with some recent trades injecting an added measure of interest into this one.
Jarry, Skinner, and Kulak will have to fight off the nervousness of facing former teammates, and Draisaitl and Crosby will each be going for a personal milestone, guaranteeing an exciting contest.
