With rumors of a possible deal circulating, Linus Ullmark formally waives his no trade clause, making him available for trade.

Ever since the Boston Bruins were eliminated from the playoffs, there have been a lot of rumors circulating about the team and goalie Linus Ullmark. Even though a deal isn't yet finished, it appears to be getting near now.

The first step in completing a transaction is for Linus Ullmark to formally renounce his no trade clause, as reported by Dominic Tiano of the 2 Pad Stack podcast and Bruins coverage.

Dom (@dominictiano) reports that Ullmark has officially waived his NTC for the Senators.

He also specifies that no trade or extension has been reached yet.

This past season, Ullmark, 30, participated in 40 games for the Bruins, recording a 22-10-7 record with 2 shutouts, a 2.57 goals against average, and a.915 save percentage.

We'll have to wait and see, but from all indications, a deal is almost done. Undoubtedly something to monitor in the upcoming days.
