The Penguins have acquired young defenseman Egor Zamula from the rival Flyers in exchange for forward Philip Tomasino.

The Pittsburgh Penguins made a trade within the division as they acquired the services of defenseman Egor Zamula from the Philadelphia Flyers in a deal involving forward Philip Tomasino.
The trade was confirmed by the President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Kyle Dubas.
This comes only days after the Penguins were involved in another deal that saw them acquire Yegor Chinakhov from the Blue Jackets.
Zamula is contracted until the end of the 2025-26 season and has an average annual value of $1.7 million, ensuring Pittsburgh has flexibility at the end of the season.

Additionally, he has been involved at the American Hockey League level with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, registering two assists across three games.
