Boston Bruins GM livid with Paul Bissonnette & the Spittin Chiclets podcast

If you remember correctly, Whitney came out and reported that things between the Bruins and goaltender Jeremy Swayman were really bad. He claimed that the team was only offering Swayman $6.2 million per year over four years. Furthermore, he made the claim that Sweeney wasn't even returning any of Swayman's calls.

This reporting was questionable at best and as it turns out, Sweeney was livid with what was said. When asked about it during a press conference on Wednesday, Sweeney claimed it was "bullsh*t." He also said that he would appreciate if the Spittin Chiclets guys would just be honest and say that their commentary is simply opinion-based and not fact-based.

Bissonnette had a sense of humor about all of this and didn't seem to really care that much. Although he did note that he had nothing to do with the reporting. Instead, it was Whitney who brought forth the alleged information.
