Nazem Kadri's Trade Value 'Has Never Been Higher' Per Top Insider: Flames May Make a Move Happen

The Calgary Flames appear to be a team headed for a rebuild, and with rumours surrounding Rasmus Andersson, the team are likely to make a blockbuster trade at some point in this off-season.

However, Andersson's name isn't the only one in speculation, as Nazem Kadri has reportedly drawn plenty of interest, with many believing that a reunion with the Toronto Maple Leafs is a genuine possibility.

That potential appears to be running out, but there's still plenty of time for the Flames to gauge interest on Kadri, and if they do, according to Nick Kypreos, his trade value has likely never been higher in his career.

In 2024/25, Kadri posted a career high of 35 goals alongside 67 points, and after playing 82 games in three straight seasons for Calgary, the 34-year old veteran could be a big help for any contending teams in the league.

To this point, the Flames have been hesitant to move Kadri, who also has a full no-movement clause in his contract, but if contending teams out there want to add him to a team with a genuine shot at a Stanley Cup, there's something there that may need to be explored.

Ultimately, it's more likely than not that Kadri plays out the remainder of his deal with the Flames, as he has shown that he's incredibly happy where he is with the team and the organization, but if Craig Conroy explores the potential of a move, don't be shocked to see something happen this off-season or at the trade deadline.
