Canadiens Goalie Jakub Dobes Gets Roasted by Teammates Over New Viral Advertisement

Canadiens goalie Jakub Dobes was recently in an ad for a new mattress, and teammates Patrik Laine and Arber Xhekaj roasted him with their Instagram comments.

The young Montreal Canadiens goalie has just teamed up with mattress firm 'JUMP' and endorsed them on Instagram by sharing an advertisement for the merchandise.
The Nature of the Photo With Jakub Dobes in White Socks is Definitely Humerous
In the picture, the goalie is reclining on a bed in white socks, a scenario that did not escape notice by his other teammates.
"Thanks jumpbed for taking care of my sleep for this coming season. If you're looking for a new mattress, definitely check them out at matelas bonheur."

What followed was no surprise: the messages were filled with good-natured teasing. Defenseman Arber Xhekaj and forward Patrik Laine were the initial ones to make jokes about the silly picture.

They were not alone, though, as Canadiens defenseman Jayden Struble and former teammates Kasimir Kaskisuo and Logan Mailloux added to the jokes.

Amongst the ocean of joky remarks, this commercial will be sticking with Jakub Dobes for a while in the Canadiens' dressing room.
Although the promotion probably earned him a little bit of bonus money, it will certainly have given him several other nicknames to boot, nonetheless. In hockey, the chirps tend to outlast everything.
