The waiver wire saw more action on Tuesday, with the Ottawa Senators making moves a day after a comeback victory against the Nashville Predators.

As reported by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Senators have placed 27-year-old forward Rourke Chartier on waivers with the intention of assigning him to the American Hockey League's Belleville Senators.

"Chartier (OTT) on waivers," Friedman shared in a post on X.»

Chartier, signed by the Ottawa Senators in July 2022, had been part of their NHL roster for the entire 2023-24 season until this point. In 34 games this season, the Saskatoon native has recorded three points (one goal, two assists), 14 penalty minutes, and holds a minus-three rating.

In related news, Devin Shore of the Seattle Kraken has cleared waivers and is set to be assigned to the American Hockey League's Coachella Valley Firebirds. Shore has played in 21 games with Seattle this season, contributing four points (one goal, three assists).
