Claude Giroux trade rumors already have a familiar frontrunner

Claude Giroux is one of the best players of his generation and as it stands, he plays for the Ottawa Senators.
His last two years with the Senators have been pretty solid as he notched 79 points and 64 points in those seasons. However, time is running out on his career and some believe his ultimate goal is to win a title. Despite getting Linus Ullmark, the Senators are still pretty far away. As a result, The Hockey News believes that Giroux could be a trade target throughout the season.
Who would take Giroux? Well, there are plenty of teams that could use a forward like him. That said, it would appear as though the Philadelphia Flyers have emerged as the most likely option. They are gearing up for a push, and this would be a reunion worth celebrating about.
