Ryan Graves second season in Pittsburgh wasn't the most successful, and now he's addressed the potential of Kyle Dubas moving him in the summer.

Two years ago, the Pittsburgh Penguins acquired Ryan Graves from the Colorado Avalanche, and thus far he has struggled to step up to the plate with the team and play at the level he did in Colorado.
Heading into the summer of 2025, the Penguins have some major question marks to answer, especially on their blue line, with many believing that the team could look to move Graves, with four more years remaining on his deal at a $4.5 million salary cap hit.
With just 18 points scored in 131 games and a -5 differential in those two years, Kyle Dubas may look to move Graves in the off-season, but it won't be easy, as they would potentially have to retain on his salary to make it happen.
While some fans want him to stay and others would prefer to see him moved, Graves' latest comments have stirred plenty of concern within Pittsburgh, as he has opened up on the summer trade call he's gotten before, but reveals he's working as if he'll be a Penguin again in 2025/26.
«I've gotten the call in July before that you're going somewhere else. You never know. It can happen.

But you go through your day-to-day (routine) as if you're going to be back here next year."
At 29-years of age, there's still time for Graves to find a consistent role and get back to his best with the Penguins, but as of right now, his summer could go in many different ways.
For now, we'll wait and see what Kyle Dubas and the front office make of his plans, but one thing is for sure and that is that whatever decision they make, it could have a major effect on this organization moving forward.
