Erik Karlsson and Connor Dewar updates from Penguins practice emerge
The Penguins got some good news at practice today, as Erik Karlsson and Connor Dewar were both seen on the ice, which was very reassuring.
Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Erik Karlsson missed Monday's practice with an illness, but he was back on the ice for Tuesday's optional morning skate.

Karlsson had a season-low 15:49 of ice time in Sunday's 7-3 win over Chicago, sitting out part of the third period. Coach Dan Muse said the limited minutes were just precautionary, and the team used the lopsided score to manage his workload.
Forward Connor Dewar, who left practice early Monday after taking a hit in a drill, also skated Tuesday, which is a positive sign for the Penguins.

Who is Yegor Chinakov
New addition Yegor Chinakov didn't take part in the optional skate, and it's unclear when he'll join the lineup.

Chinakov is a young, talented player from the Blue Jackets who requested a trade prior to the start of the season, and he was just acquired by Kyle Dubas yesterday.
With Karlsson and Dewar on the ice, Pittsburgh has some encouraging news heading into Tuesday's home game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
