During Penguins practice today in Sweden, Evgeni Malkin pulled off one of the funniest celebrations after scoring a goal you will ever see in hockey.

It feels like the rewind button has been pushed on the Pittsburgh Penguins. The year may be 2025, but Sid the Kid and Geno are taking it back to the good old days and giving fans something to smile about every night.
The Penguins' superstar duo has been together for two decades, and again, they are sitting near the top of the league.
The Penguins are 9-5-3 after 17 games and are scorching hot. They look like one team that has the potential to defeat every team that is in front of them.

What is behind the Penguins success so far this season

The chemistry that Crosby and Malkin share is what is behind the renaissance that is taking place. It was billed as something that defined an era, but has clearly defined the current one.
During today's practice in Sweden, Malkin made sure to show everyone that hockey is more than just about puck skills; it's also about enjoying yourself.
The 39-year-old player was seen celebrating after scoring in a shootout drill, taking his stick and flinging it up in the air before doing one of the most ridiculous dances on one skate that will be seen in hockey history.
The whole rink erupted with laughter as his teammates joined him to capture this priceless moment that encapsulated his light-hearted side.
As Crosby has been scoring with ease, Malkin has been transforming himself. The prolific goal-scorer that he was has turned into an excellent playmaker.

Why Evgeni Malkin is being compared to Nikita Kucherov

In fact, he has transformed his playmaking skills to such an extent that people even compare him to his best buddy, Nikita Kucherov.
If this renewed pairing of Malkin and Crosby can remain injury-free, and if Pittsburgh can continue to play with such efficiency, the Penguins might just be set to embark on another deep playoff run. It's 2009 all over again in 2025.
