Frightening Scene as Penguins Fan Reportedly Suffers a Medical Emergency After Falling in the Stands

Tonight during the Pittsburgh Penguins game an unexpected and frightening moment played out as a fan fell several rows in the stands after a Penguins goal.
Early into the Pittsburgh Penguins game reports indicated that a fan suffered a medical emergency and was attended to by in-stadium medical personnel.
Now, reports have confirmed that the fan fell nearly 25 rows while celebrating leading to a critical situation.
Penguins Fan Endures Medical Emergency While Celebrating a Penguins Goal
According to Penguins reporter Josh Yohe, the incident occurred after Anthony Mantha's goal that put the team up 2-0.
A fan at a Pittsburgh Penguins game fell from a higher level into Section 101 at PPG Paints Arena on Monday night.
The incident took place just 55 seconds into the first period - around 7:10 p.m. - after Anthony Mantha scored to give the Penguins an early 2-0 lead.
According to Yohe's sources it is currently unknown what led the fan to fall or his current condition beyond the fact he was attended to by medical personnel.
It's unknown precisely how far the fan fell, as there are three levels above Section 101. The fan landed in the handicap area of Section 101, approximately 25 rows behind the Penguins' bench. Witnesses said the man appeared to be unconscious when medical personnel on hand at the arena rushed to his aid.
According to another source, play went uninterrupted and the Penguins to this point have not given an update on the fan's well being.
A statement made by the Penguins has confirmed that the fan was attended to and then eventually transported to a local hospital for further care.
This is the second incident involving a fan falling during a Pittsburgh sporting event after earlier this year a Pirates fan fell under similar circumstances and has since made a full recovery.
