Kyle Dubas is looking to make some more big changes for Pittsburgh this off-season, and now Josh Yohe has hinted that two big trades could be coming.
In recent times, he's done a fantastic job of acquiring future assets, with a total of 17 picks in the first three rounds over the next three years, and with little optimism heading into 2025/26, it makes sense to continue that mindset moving forward.
Penguins Could Be on the Verge of a Major Trade as Dubas Commits to Rebuild
"A big trade or two feels likely before training camp. However, Dubas hasn't received offers that meet his liking yet but he is fully committed to a rebuild."
At this point, he doesn't note which player is likeliest to be moved, but this is something we've heard from insiders around the league around potential trades, with many expecting that when players return to town for training camps, the trades and player movement will heat up once more.
Ultimately, it makes the most sense for Dubas to continue rebuilding and pushing for future assets, and while it's unlikely that he'll trade all three of his veteran stars this off-season, it wouldn't be a shock to see one or maybe two moved ahead of training camp.
