Penguins GM Kyle Dubas looks smarter by the day after trading Tristan Jarry, as his latest injury with the Oilers has led many to call him injury-prone.

The Edmonton Oilers did what was required of them Thursday night in Boston, coming away victorious 3-1 against the Bruins. This was good, but this good feeling was not to be enjoyed for an extensive period of time.
Once again, the attention turned to the goaltender position after Tristan Jarry was forced to leave the game due to an injury.

What happened to Tristan Jarry in last night's game

Jarry went down in the second period, midway through the frame, as he slid across the crease. He skated directly to the bench and scooted out, not to return.
While no team announcement has been made on his exact injury, indications are that he has a groin injury. Calvin Pickard, in the blink of an eye, came in and denied all shots he faced in the last 24 minutes.
Subsequent to the game, Jarry returned to Edmonton for assessment and ended up on the injured reserve list. This means that the goalie won't see action for quite a bit. Queries on his past injuries were inevitable.
NHL insider Jason Gregor pointed out that Jarry has missed about 40 games over eight NHL seasons due to injury, including time lost to a broken foot, upper-body issues, and multiple lower-body injuries.

This has led many to call Jarry injury-prone, which is making Penguins GM Kyle Dubas look like a genius for getting rid of him at the right time.
"I see many claim Jarry is injury-prone."

The Oilers are reportedly interested in Buffalo Sabres goaltender Alex Lyon. The Sabres now have three goaltenders on their roster under their new general manager, Jarmo Kekäläinen, and Alex Lyon's salary cap hit of $1.5 million provides a sensible solution.
The Oilers have already traveled to Minnesota to play their afternoon game on Saturday. Connor Ingram has been recalled from the AHL Bakersfield, and Pickard is likely to start the game, with Edmonton awaiting the full update on Jarry.
In the meantime, Dubas pats himself on the back, saying job well done.
