Marc-André Fleury Announces New Brand: Honours Pittsburgh Penguins

After a long, illustrious career, Marc-Andre Fleury officially hung up the skates following the 2024/25 season, and now, the future Hockey Hall of Famer has plenty of spare time on his hands.

He didn't waste any time starting a new venture however, as the 40-year old announced a brand new product on Thursday, unveiling a limited edition vodka from his home town in Quebec.

In the process, he honoured the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team he spent the first 13 seasons of his career with, by releasing three different bottles, all themed after teams he played for in his NHL career.

While he would go on to play for three different teams after leaving the Penguins, he could never quite make the same impact on the NHL than he did when he was with the Penguins, becoming one of the most iconic players in franchise history and one of the best goaltenders of an entire generation.

Unsurprisingly, plenty of fans in the comments of the announcement were excited to get their hands on some iconic Penguins memorabilia, with fans across the league, but especially in Pittsburgh still having plenty of love for one of the games biggest characters, affectionately known as 'Flower'.

Of course, there is some shade in Fleury's announcement, as he did play for four teams throughout his career, with the very forgettable stop in Chicago along the way, but with the goalie being synonymous with Pittsburgh for many, his tribute will be appreciated and love by so many fans across the NHL.
