Pittsburgh Penguins legend Marc-Andre Fleury is going to play a final game with many of his old teammates on Saturday as a final sendoff to Pittsburgh fans.

Saturday night will be one last proper sendoff for Pittsburgh Penguins fans to say thank you to franchise icon Marc-Andre Fleury for all that he did for them during his career.
Fleury signed a PTO with the Penguins with the intention of playing a final game in the preseason in the sweater that he played the 1st decade and a half of his career before being claimed in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft by the Vegas Golden Knights.
Fleury said that he's happy things worked out to get in one last game with some of his former teammates he won 3 Stanley Cups with in 2009, 2016 and 2017.
I feel like I've said goodbye like 17 times already to everybody. I was a little banged up too, you know, after the season. I wasn't planning on working out or skating, and I didn't. Then, we talked a few weeks back.

I was like (at) home, kids in school, you know? And I was like, 'Yeah, I think it'll be fun and spend some time with the guys and the staff, and see the fans and all that stuff too.' So, yeah, I'm happy that it all worked out.

Fleury will still retire after Saturday night's final preseason game

Fleury decided to play a final game in front of the fans who cheered for him for so many years, but he will still be officially retiring as he announced before the start of last season with the Minnesota Wild.
During his career, Fleury played for the Penguins, Golden Knights, Blackhawks and Wild.
His 572 career NHL wins are 2nd in NHL history and are behind only his boyhood idol and fellow Quebec native, Martin Brodeur.
