New Eyewitness Report Reveals What Happened Moments Before Fan's Fall at Penguins Game

A new eyewitness report has been made public about the moments that led up to the fan falling over the concourse at PPG Paints Arena last night.
A new report has emerged regarding a fan who is now in critical condition due to a fall from the upper level of the PPG Paints Arena.
This occurred during the game of the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. The fan was promptly rushed to a nearby hospital by emergency services.
The new report suggests the fan "teetered a little bit" before he dropped forward, an eyewitness told a local news channel.
"He was like, teetering a little bit, and then he fell forward. Somehow, he just kept sailing over the seats, and I think his head hit the Plexiglass, or safety glass, and shattered it."

Just two nights ago in Pittsburgh, another serious fall had been reported. This involved a man working at the Acrisure Stadium who lost his balance as he was installing production equipment.
The man had fallen some 50 feet from the scoreboard catwalk to the lower catwalk area. He had been stabilized and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The recent spate of incidents has turned the spotlight on fan safety at local sports stadiums.
In an incident seen at PNC Park earlier in the year, 20-year-old fan Kavan Murkwood went over the outfield wall at PNC Park, celebrating a play by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He sustained various fractures but has since enjoyed a rapid recovery. In September, he returned to the ballpark by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
But now, with three serious falls within a short span of two months at PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium, and PPG Paints Arena venues in total, concerns are being raised.
While the community holds on to hope that the latest victim gets better, it's expected that the authorities will analyze fan safety at the venues.
