New Penguins head coach Dan Muse has landed in Pittsburgh, and while speaking to reporters, he reflected on the warm welcome he received and his arrival.

New head coach Dan Muse walked into PPG Paints Arena with anticipation, of course, with his first day on the job, as he was followed around with a team-made video.
Muse walked into the historic arena for the first time as one of the team members and took it all in, where he spoke of his arrival and the warm welcome he received.
"Knowing that you are part of something special, an amazing organization, and an amazing city - legendary is the best way to describe it."

Dan Bylsma or Mike Sullivan occupied that coaches' box for the last decade, but fans and players are all behind him now. And Muse, like all new prospects after it, is anxiously waiting to slot into it, just not on the ice but behind the bench instead.
General manager Kyle Dubas greeted him with a warm and friendly hello as the Penguins dive headlong into their busy off-season.
The attention is now centered on building a plan for free agency, which is only three weeks away from opening its gates.

The Penguins have a lot of decisions to make with their free agents

The most immediate of these questions is which of their unrestricted free agents do they resign, and where do they improve? Do they tender qualifying offers to Connor Dewar and Philip Tomasino?
Do they commit to internal options, Sam Poulin and Filip Hallander? Those talks will be dominated by Muse as Dubas tries to put together a roster that will be prepared for his new head coach's system of play.
The support coaching staff for Muse will also have to be completed. There are no games to be played this summer, but plenty of work to do instead, with Muse getting used to it all and the Penguins and Dubas getting ready for next season.
