Penguins Cut Five Players From Camp and Assign Them to Wilkes-Barre

The Pittsburgh Penguins have made another round of cuts at training camp today, sending five players down to the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The team assigned five players to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's training camp of the American Hockey League (AHL), which also begins today at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.
There is Already Just One Week Left of Training Camp
The NHL preseason is always a whirlwind, and the Penguins just started official practices 11 days ago, but here we are, already at the last full week of training camp. This is where we will see some big changes happening.
The Penguins have a very busy schedule ahead over the next few days, as more and more cuts will be on the horizon as we inch closer to the start of the regular season.
