The Penguins look to keep their league-leading point streak alive tonight as they face off against the Minnesota Wild, trying to make it points in eight straight.

The Pittsburgh Penguins continue their four-game road trip Thursday night when they visit the Minnesota Wild at Grand Casino Arena. Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. ET.
Pittsburgh has dominated this matchup recently, picking up points in 11 of its last 13 games against Minnesota (10-2-1) and going 14-5-1 in the last 20 meetings since 2014.
The Penguins have also won five of their past six visits to Grand Casino Arena since 2018.
A win Thursday would give Pittsburgh eight victories in its first 12 games, something the franchise has achieved only 11 times in team history, most recently during the 2016-17 campaign.

The Penguins have the longest active point streak and the most points in the league over the last 7 games

The Penguins enter the contest riding a seven-game point streak, 5-0-2, which is the longest active run in the NHL.
In that time, Pittsburgh's 12 points lead the league, while the team ranks near the top in several key categories, including goals, power play efficiency, and overall offensive output.

The Penguins have Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin still leading the way. Malkin's 16 points (3G-13A) rank fourth in the NHL, while Crosby's 15 (8G-7A) put him eighth.
The combined 31 points rank third for duos league-wide. Kris Letang is one point away from tying Hall of Famer Rob Blake for 22nd all-time in points among defensemen with 777.
Crosby, on the other hand, has been lethal against Minnesota. His 24 points (9G-15A) in his last 12 games versus the Wild give him the highest points-per-game average in NHL history against them (min. 10 GP).
