					The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced that forward Noel Acciari has been hurt and will not be back for the rest of tonight's game against the Maple Leafs in Toronto.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have a 2-0 lead over the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena near the midway point of the game, but they're going to be down a forward for the rest of the night.
The Penguins have announced that forward Noel Acciari has been hurt and is now unavailable for the rest of the game.
Forward Noel Acciari (upper body) will not return to tonight's game.
Acciari started the game on the Penguins' fourth line with 
Blake Lizotte and 
Connor Dewar. Right now, it's not clear as to the nature of his injury or how it happened, or how serious it could be.
He's in the last year of his three year contract he signed with the Penguins in 2023 with an AAV (average annual value) of $2 million.
Noel Acciari Is Playing In His Third Year With The Pittsburgh Penguins
Acciari played at Providence College and helped his team win the 2015 NCAA Championship, and was later signed to an entry level contract by the Boston Bruins after having never been drafted.
He would have multiple injury concerns during his time with the Bruins and later signed with the divisional foe Florida Panthers on a three year contract in 2019.
He has since played for the St. Louis Blues and the Toronto Maple Leafs before signing with the Penguins in 2023.
Acciari has 122 points (68G, 54A) in 530 career NHL games, and has three assists so far with the Penguins this year in 12 games played.
