The Pittsburgh Penguins have the 11th overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NHL Entry Draft, and they're projected to go with size and strength when it comes time for GM Kyle Dubas to make their selection.

The Pittsburgh Penguins landed the 11th overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NHL Entry Draft, and there remains a chance they could pick 12th immediately afterward.
In late January, the Penguins picked up a conditional 1st round pick from the Vancouver Canucks in the trade sending defenseman Marcus Pettersson and forward Drew O'Connor to the Vancouver Canucks.
The 1st round pick was originally from the New York Rangers, who had sent it to Vancouver in the blockbuster J.T. Miller trade earlier on the same day; the Rangers have up until 48 hours before the NHL Entry Draft begins to decide whether to keep the pick or let the Penguins have it.
In the meantime, the Penguins are being projected to go with size and strength with the 11th pick per a report from Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects.
The Pittsburgh Penguins may be looking for size in the 1st round this year.

I'm told they took both Radim Mrtka and Roger McQueen out for dinner this week.

McQueen, a 6'5" forward with the WHL's Brandon Wheat Kings, had 20 points (10G, 10A) in 17 games this year.
McQueen's scouting report via Elite Prospects reads as follows:
A highly skilled offensive player, McQueen combines pace with mechanical refinement and a deep arsenal of tricks. Always in motion, he catches pucks inside crossovers, takes the middle, and attacks defenders one-on-one. He fakes one way before going the other, using his full wingspan to bait the defender and beat them to the other side. He spaces the offensive zone well, often controlling the game from the half wall, only to slip inside at the net front for a chance. He's also a very skilled passer, landing hook, slip, and backhand passes through layers - all while looking off his target and at speed.

Mrtka, a 6'6" defenseman for the WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds, had 35 points (3G, 42A) in 43 games.
