Penguins Unveil Hall of Fame Relaunch: Jagr Leads Legendary First Class
The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that 10 former players will be inducted into their Hall of Fame display at PPG Paints Arena this year, starting with Jaromir Jagr.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have their own team Hall of Fame, but It will be getting some special attention this year with a new official display coming to PPG Paints Arena.

10 notable former Penguins figures will officially be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame at the arena over the next 3 years, starting with Jaromir Jagr.
The names that will be inducted over the next 3 years
include Jagr, Ron Francis, Kevin Stevens, Tom Barrasso, Chris Kunitz, Larry Murphy, Ray Shero, Scotty Bowman, Eddie Johnston and Jim Rutherford.
Four of those men will be inducted into the first class in October. The Penguins will announce the 2025-26 season class in September, and that class will officially be honored at PPG Paints Arena during the weekend of Oct. 24-26, when the Penguins will host the Columbus Blue Jackets.
From Jagr to Francis: Hockey Icons Headline October Inductions
Jagr, Francis, Murphy, Stevens and Barrasso won back to back Stanley Cups with the Penguins in 1991 and 1992.
The 1992 Penguins were coached by Scotty Bowman, who had already won multiple Cups with the Montreal Canadiens and would later go on to win 3 more with the Detroit Red Wings before retiring in 2002.
Rey Shero formerly served as Penguins GM for their 2009 Stanley Cup win, while Rutherford was in the same role for their 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup wins.
