Pittsburgh Penguins young defenseman Vladislav Kolyachonok recently announced that he is a proud new father to a healthy, adorable baby boy named Miro.
A few days ago, Rakell and his wife Emmeli celebrated the arrival of their second child, a son named Ziggy Steel.
That middle name, Steel, is pure Pittsburgh passion, and perhaps a nod of acknowledgement to Rakell's decade-long devotion to the black and gold.
And just one day later, Jarry marked his 30th birthday with something a whole lot more memorable: his firstborn, a son named Bennett, born to wife Hannah, daughter of former Penguin Kevin Hatcher.

And now a member of the rookie dad club is 23-year-old Kolyachonok, who recently welcomed his first child, a boy named Miro. That's three boys in two days for three different Penguins, a statistical oddity and a feel-good tale all wrapped into one.
Kolyachonok may be young in NHL years, but he's now a proud father. And with a name like Miro, meaning "glory" or "peace" in most Slavic languages, this little fellow is off to a great start.
It's been a big week for the Penguins off the ice. Congratulations to the growing families, and welcome to the newest batch of Baby Penguins. We look forward to seeing them all at the arena next season!
