It will be an unforgettable night in Pittsburgh, as the Penguins are set to induct their legends into the team's Hall of Fame before playing the Blue Jackets.

The Penguins come home tonight to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets at PPG Paints Arena with a 7 p.m. start.
Fans can get there early for a special pregame Hall of Fame ceremony in honor of this year's inductees: Eddie Johnston, Ron Francis, Kevin Stevens, and Scotty Bowman.
The team also broke ground for a new Hall of Fame display outside Sections 111-112, which will include memorabilia of the inductees, a Mike Lange tribute, and plaques to Penguins legends.
Pittsburgh has a tougher five-game week following tonight's game, starting with Monday's home contest against the St. Louis Blues before beginning a four-game road trip to Philadelphia, Minnesota, Winnipeg, and Toronto.

Columbus played last night and could have some fatigue

Columbus comes into the game after a tough 5-1 defeat to Washington last night, but the game was closer than the score indicated.
The Blue Jackets had been playing better in their previous few games, with victories over Tampa Bay and Dallas, but will be fatigued playing the second of a back-to-back.

GOALIES
Elvis Merzlikins (Jet Greaves started last night)

The Blue Jackets and Penguins play three times this season, two of them at Columbus and once at Pittsburgh in January.
Pittsburgh has dominated the series since the Blue Jackets entered the league back in 2000, sitting with a 24-4-1 record with just four regulation defeats, one of those a month ago last November.
The Penguins come into tonight's contest with a four-game winning streak, their longest since last November 2023. Sidney Crosby is at the forefront, with all five of his last shots being goals and registering a goal in four consecutive games.

A victory tonight would not only continue the Penguins' rolling momentum but also be a fitting climax to a night of celebrating the storied past and glorious future of this franchise.
