Penguins' Sidney Crosby spoke to reporters after last night's game and issued a heartfelt message regarding the fan who fell from the top bowl, down below.

A Pittsburgh Penguins supporter was in critical condition after a horrific fall from the upper concourse level to the lower seating level Monday night during the game against the St. Louis Blues at PPG Paints Arena.
The accident happened early in the game, within seconds of Anthony Mantha's goal in the first period that made Pittsburgh go up 2-0.
The 'Pittsburgh Tribune-Review' reports emergency responders rushed in to treat the man for a short time before transporting him to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
Another fan who was hit while he was falling received a short medical evaluation but refused treatment.
Witness Jess Levo, a 'Tribune-Review High School Sports Network' producer, reported that she witnessed the man fall and that he was bleeding when medical staff arrived.
The Penguins issued a statement during the third period verifying that the accident had in fact occurred and that they were concerned about the person involved.

Sidney Crosby refused to talk about any milestones and instead respectfully focused on the fan's well-being

Team captain Sidney Crosby, who crossed the 1,700-point threshold in the Penguins' 6-3 victory, sidestepped talk of his milestone after the game.
Instead, he offered sympathies and prayers for the injured fan and the family, in keeping with the somber mood that prevailed on an otherwise festive night.
"We just heard someone fell tonight. It doesn't feel right to be talking about points...Our thoughts and prayers are with that person."

- Sidney Crosby
The tragic accident follows just two days after a different type of fall at Acrisure Stadium, where a 50-foot fall from the scoreboard occurred from an employee as the Steelers hosted the Packers. That person is also critically injured.
The Acrisure Stadium employee and the Penguins fan are in our prayers and thoughts as the Pittsburgh sports community hopes for their speedy and complete recoveries.
