Even though they have been longtime divisional foes, Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin still have a deep respect for one another despite their many battles in the regular season and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Recently, Ovechkin surpassed 900 goals becoming the first player in the history of the league to reach this milestone.
Following Ovechkin's latest historic accomplishment in which he became the first NHL player to score 900 goals, Crosby had some kind words for him.

Sidney Crosby And Evgeni Malkin Had A Gift For Ovechkin After Breaking Wayne Gretzky's Record
Ovechkin became the leading goal scorer in NHL history last year, surpassing the previous mark of 894 career goals set by Wayne Gretzky in 1999.
