Sidney Crosby Teases Unfinished Business with Marc-André Fleury

Penguins captain hinted with a smile that he has unfinished business against his beloved former Pittsburgh teammate, soon-to-be-retired goalie Marc-Andre Fleury.
While future Hall of Fame goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury's NHL career has ended, he decided he wasn't quite ready to hang up the pads just yet.
He traveled overseas to join the Canadian squad in the ongoing 2025 IIHF World Championships, reuniting with former longtime Pittsburgh Penguins teammate Sidney Crosby.
During their time together in Pittsburgh, which included 3 Stanley Cup wins, Fleury became known for his humorous pranks against not only Crosby but the rest of his teammates, a tradition he carried with him during his other stops with the Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks, and Minnesota Wild.
When asked if he plans on getting back at Fleury with an epic prank of his own, Crosby smiled and hinted that one could be coming down the line sometime and that the prank battles could continue well into the retirement days of both players.
Maybe not here, but eventually. That'll be a longstanding thing. I think it's far from done, regardless of if we're both playing or not. So I have a feeling that battle could last a long time.
Earlier in the season, when they both happened to be at the same hotel in Raleigh, both Crosby and Fleury pranked one another:
Things were no different when Crosby and Fleury found themselves staying in the same Raleigh hotel this past Saturday. Crosby struck first by rearranging Fleury's hotel room furniture. Fleury repaid him by smearing petroleum jelly on his visor, lacing his skates upside down, and putting beef sticks in his equipment.
Both players have played a major role in the success that the Penguins enjoyed over the years, and both hold a special place in the hearts of Pittsburgh fans everywhere.
