Snoop Dogg's Love and Admiration for Sidney Crosby Left Fans Completely Stunned

Hockey is known as the lesser of the four 'big four' sports in North America, with the big names from other sports dwarfing those of the National Hockey League in terms of star power.

That doesn't mean that plenty of celebrities aren't interested in the NHL however, as we often see people like Will Ferrell taking in LA Kings games along with many other celebrities across the league.

In a recent post on Instagram from Hockey Forever, we saw the admiration from Snoop Dogg towards Sidney Crosby, with many moments dating back two decades showing just how much he loves the Pittsburgh Penguins captain.

That includes the famous rapper cheering for Canada in the 2010 Olympic Games despite being an American, with the rapper likely thrilled when Crosby scored one of the most famous goals in hockey history, becoming known as the iconic 'Golden Goal' to many generations of Canadians.

In the Instagram post, we see Snoop Dogg shouting out Crosby in the early 2000's, as well as the moment he found out that Crosby would be at 'Big Night Aht', an event that took place recently, with the rapper becoming giddy that 87 would be there.

Ultimately, this is how many Penguins fans have felt about Crosby for a long time, but to see a celebrity gush over him like this takes it to another level entirely, showing just how much of an impact the Penguins star has had for the NHL over the past two decades with the team.
