Unbelievable Marc-Andre Fleury Story from a Montreal Club Finally Revealed

NHL insider Josh Yohe has just revealed an unbelievable, never-before-heard story of Marc-Andre Fleury outside a Montreal club, and several other funny moments.
Marc-Andre Fleury's return to Pittsburgh this weekend will be one to remember. The future Hall of Fame goaltender will take the ice for a preseason game with the Penguins after signing a one-day contract to retire with the team that made him a legend. It will be a night of memories, smiles, and tears in PPG Paints Arena.
Few were able to keep pace with Fleury's skill at making gravity and levity operate. That fine line was tested in 2012 when the Penguins were defeated by the Flyers in disheartening fashion.
Fleury suffered through the worst series of his career, giving up 26 goals in six games. It stung, and when training camp opened several months later, Fleury's glare made it clear that he was fuming.

Just as the tension was about to boil over, his signature smile cut through. Any rivalry was over in a flash.
Later on in Columbus, both NHL insider Josh Yohe and Fleury complained about the Blue Jackets' goal cannon. In an earlier shutout opportunity in the third period, a Matt Calvert goal spoiled the attempt and triggered the blast.
Later, Fleury waved Yohe over to remind him that he shouldn't have said the word shutout.
There was also a late-night memorable moment in Montreal, when Fleury saw Yohe emerging from a club as the Penguins' bus was approaching a red light. With a wicked smile, he wagged his finger from the tinted window.
"When I emerged from the establishment, I noticed there was a large bus sitting at a red light.
Oh God. It's the Penguins' bus. I hope they don't notice me. This is embarrassing.

But his moment of definition arrived in 2017, with a breathtaking Game 7 shutout against the Capitals, an effort that preserved Pittsburgh's championship aspirations. Even as his Penguins stint was coming to an end, Fleury lit up the room.
Fleury's anecdotes are proof of a career as colorful off ice as on it: hilarious, heartbreaking, and indelible.
