Despite the fact that Penguins prospects Bill Zonnon and Peyton Kettles are injured, they finally took to the ice today before practice to get some reps in.

The 2025 first-round pick will miss approximately four weeks of action with an undisclosed illness, postponing his Armada debut.
Zonnon, aged 18, was acquired by Blainville-Boisbriand from Rouyn-Noranda in a pre-draft blockbuster trade that traded three first-rounders and forward Samuel Rheault.

Weeks on, the Montreal-born kid was selected 22nd overall by the Penguins, providing the Armada with a very talented NHL prospect.
His loss is at a bad time for a team that wants to go all-in early, particularly with another 2025 first-rounder in Justin Carbonneau likely starting next season in the NHL with St. Louis.
The Penguins also lack second-round prospect Peyton Kettles, who hasn't laced up in camp following rehab on his own injury. Kettles has not signed his entry-level deal and will be with the WHL's Swift Current Broncos once healthy.
In spite of the disappointment, there was some positive news for fans on Thursday. Zonnon and Kettles both were seen getting a workout in before practice, their first time being seen on the ice since their respective injuries.
While they did not skate with the rest of the team, that they skated at all is a good indicator of their recovery and a relief to those tracking their progress.
For Penguins fans, patience is required with two of the team's newest prospects, but seeing them skate is a reminder that they will have better times in the future.
