In less than a month, the National Hockey League will hold its 2024 Entry Draft, and Macklin Celebrini is without a doubt the player selected first overall. However, we might have a late arrival in the goaltending category who could be chosen among the top five in his position the following month.

If Reid Dyck, a prospect for the Boston Bruins, is not signed by Saturday, he may reenter the draft next month, according to Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal.
Dyck, 20, just finished his fourth season with the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL. He was chosen by the Bruins 183rd overall in 2022. Dyck had a 25-7-2 record, a 2.70 goals against average, a.911 save percentage, and two shutouts in 35 appearances for the Broncos.
Dyck signed an amateur trial contract (ATO) with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League at the end of the season, but he didn't play in any of the team's games as they lost to the Hartford Wolf Pack in the second round.
"Bruins 2022 sixth round pick Reid Dyck can re-enter NHL Draft if not signed by June 1. He went 25-7-2 with .911 save percentage for WHL's Swift Current in '23-24" Divver said.
The Bruins don't exactly have a deep goaltender pool, but with Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman between the pipes for the next several years, if the latter isn't traded, it could be a good idea to add Reid Dyck before Saturday.
