The Nottingham Panthers of the Elite Ice Hockey League made a breaking news announcement, revealing that they were forced to evacuate their building and cancel today's game due to a serious injury involving former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Adam Johnson.

The incident unfolded at the Sheffield Arena, where fans in attendance were escorted out of the building because of the distressing scene on the ice.

The team described it as a "major medical emergency" after Johnson suffered a severe injury when he was struck by a skate blade on the neck, resulting in profuse bleeding on the ice.

Fortunately, medical staff were on hand, working diligently to provide Johnson with the necessary assistance to save his life.

Adam Johnson, an undrafted prospect from the University of Minnesota Duluth, was picked up by the Pittsburgh Penguins' AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

He made 13 NHL appearances for the Penguins, registering a goal and three assists for a total of 4 career points in the NHL. The hockey community collectively hopes for a positive outcome in this tragic situation.
