Watch: Connor Bedard denies young Canadiens fan an autograph in Montreal
He has only played a handful of NHL games, but Connor Bedard is already a superstar in the National Hockey League. He can barely keep up with all of the media appearances and he even has fans of other teams showing up to the rink early for the chance to snag an autograph after the morning skates.
In a recently released video, several young fans were spotted intercepting Bedard on his way off the ice, begging him to sign some gear for them. Naturally, Bedard obliged the young Hawks fan, but when a Canadiens fan approached him to ask for a signature on a Cole Caufield jersey, Bedard said no dice.
"Oh, I can't do a Habs jersey." - Bedard refusing a young Habs fan's request
The clip cut short, so we don't know what the outcome of this scenario was. Perhaps Bedard signed something else instead. However, it's a good lesson for this young fan to learn that there are lines that, suffice it to say, you just can't cross.
